In 1899(the 32nd year of Meiji period), the building has been built as The Industrial Bank of Japan building,
after several moves, it is now used as Chiba Toyopet Co.,Ltd. building.
The building expands symmetrically from the Chinese gabled main entrance, and the entire design is based on Japanese style.
It was designed by Yorinaka Tsumaki and Goichi Takeda, and designated as cultural structure by Agency of Cultural Affairs.
