In 1899(the 32nd year of Meiji period), the building has been built as The Industrial Bank of Japan building, after several moves, it is now used as Chiba Toyopet Co.,Ltd. building.
The building expands symmetrically from the Chinese gabled main entrance, and the entire design is based on Japanese style.
It was designed by Yorinaka Tsumaki and Goichi Takeda, and designated as cultural structure by Agency of Cultural Affairs.

1899Built as head office of The Industrial Bank of Japan in Kojimachi, Tokyo
1926Transferred to Keisei Denki Kido, and used as a filming set for Tamasaburo Bando production
1940Moved to Nagasu, Chuoku, Chibashi as Chiba city hall building
1965 Moved to Inage Kaigan, Mihamaku, Chibashi as Chiba Toyopet Co.,Ltd.
Used as head office building, the roof is wooden copper roofing which remains the same since the time it was built, and the building frame is reinforced concrete.

Now it is used as head office and central store.
